Finger


Intrinsic Finger problems are problems due to anatomic injuries in the fingers. The fingers are composed of the metacarpals, the bones that make up the fingers closest to knuckles and the phalanx, the bones that make up the end of the fingers. These joints are held in place by ligaments and tendons and their muscles.

Trigger fingers:
this condition is caused by over use of the flexor tendons of the fingers. It can be treated steroid injections or surgical release.

Finger arthritis:
This condition, depending on the type of arthritis, can be treated with araffin baths, creams, occasionally steroid injections and rarely if ever surgery.
